Saw a smallish bear on Saturday on the drive into Sullivan Lake area. 1 in the afternoon and he comes sauntering up out of the river bottom and walked across the paved road. Must have been thirsty. :) Saw some very fresh tracks but couldn't catch up to him, would have been a nice bear as he had slightly over 5 inch front pad. Probably ate 2 gallons of huckleberries, but no bear sign up high. A few photos of the area and the the storm that rolled in on Sunday WOW, thought I might have to strap myself to a tree. :o Little snow in the mountain tops. Had a great time!
