So I went up last night in the Colockum.  Walked a whole 50yds from my truck and called in a Cow.  Had to stand up so she wouldn't run over me when she was at 10 yds.  Heard two other groups of elk.  Herd some herd talk and a bull softly chuckling to his cows.  Couldn't get  him to answer back though.  Could not find that ever elusive "True Spike"

This weekend I'm going up into the Alpine Lakes Wilderness for a chance at a branch bull.  I have done absolutely nothing at work today other than poke around this website.  I can't keep my mind off of bugling bulls.  It's killing me.  And then to top it off the SOB Longtat shot his like 8th animal with a bow this year and had to post it.  :mgun:  So now my work ethic today is completely derailed.  Thanks Longtat.  You should have to register your bow and label it a weapon of mass destruction.   :chuckle:

I hear ya,  My buddy is out hunting this week and keeps calling my with updates.  It is killing me, I don't need to hear the storys till the end of season. :bash:

I go on Vacation on Friday to hunt so the days are dragging on. :yike:

Same here.  Friday might as well be December.  It feels like it takes just as long.

Hey bro...

Im not doing anything special...I just hunt near chemical plants or huge powerlines...lol   they dont grow huge but they are retarded and thats what I need. A decent animal that will let me tie it to a tree and shoot at it... :chuckle:

if it makes ya feel better..I never called in a single elk this year...so ur way ahead of me  lol :P
