So I took the girl I am seeing up to the hills to see how she would handle it. We went up to hear the elk talking, Did not get any good pictures of bulls but did see a few. While i was up there I ran into a guy scouting because he has the Rut tag that starts on Monday. Seems like a nice guy. I shared what I knew about the area and am probably going to go up and help him this week. I gave him the info about this site and told him to post pics when he gets his bull. I wish him luck and hope to be there when he gets his animal.
Here are some pics that I took. The elk pic was from about 800 yards away so it is not so good.

Sweet!! Hope you and your girl had a good time. Hopefully the guy you ran into will have some good fortune, join the site and post pictures of Big Elk Down...........Man I gotta get out.

We were just outside Enumclaw, And we did hear some talking but not as much as usual when I go up there.
