Title: was the green a zoo this weekend???
Post by: bearhunter59 on September 28, 2009, 07:46:34 PM: Anybody fish the green this weekend around the Hwy 18 area? I had an appointment to go to both days, but when I drove by there were cars parked everywhere, so I figured the fish must be in, and it was probably a zoo down there.
So, how was the fishin' guys???

Post by: JoshT on September 28, 2009, 08:09:25 PM: I hit it down at Brannan Park for a couple of hours on Saturday... it was freakin' hillarious. There were people everywhere.... 90% of them had no clue what they were doing. I saw about 5 fish hooked... all snagged in the belly... all kept. I tried to inform them this was illegal... to no avail. I on the other hand, landed 10 or so fish... all on a gold/black #4 rvrfshr spinner... all hooked solidly in the mouth. I let all my fish loose... and was about to get lynched for it... so I went home... laughing the entire way out.
