Post by: ribka on September 29, 2009, 07:34:41 PM: I live next to 340. Decided to do the ml for deer this year. Have seen 3 smallish bucks and lots of does with fawns this year.
In addition have been seeing a lot of elk this year in that unit.
My neighbor took a 3 pt last Saturday.

The thing with 340 and 342 is that you would swear there are no decent bucks but every November when the rut starts I always see at least 2 really nice bucks when I bird hunt these units.

Very true! I've seen a couple Dandy bucks during elk season.
