I took these two folks out this past weekend. Nice older couple, he's 66 and she's 64. They have taken a bunch of game and wanted to take a Rio in WA. We got into three different flocks.

Yes, but they ended up just shooting the closest birds.

Congrats and well done ... I'm sure they were pleased beyond belief anyway. I know myself, I get pretty excited when people I take out get their bird(s) ... sometimes even more so than when I harvest another.
I had seen some nice toms when I stopped by to see my landowner in No. Lincoln Co. Thursday morning, had planned on swinging back there for my 3rd bird, but that didn't work out when the wife got hit again with diverticulitis ... although she is feeling better now, the doctor was using the "s" word (surgery) and that may be in the near future.
Anyway ... way to go Machias ! So cool ....
