Shot this ruffed grouse last week with my bow. This is the first critter I've taken with my bow. I was stoked. What a cool feeling. Maybe next year I will get something with four legs and antlers.

Congrads and welcome to the ranks of successful "stick throwers" :archer: Anything taken with a bow is a trophy I don't care if it weights 1lb or 1000lbs it a hard won harvest. Take pride in every harvest. Again Congrads :brew:

well if you can whack a grouse, you should have no problems with a four legged critter. Congrats on your first archery harvest

Congrats. I took my first shot with a bow at a grouse a few weeks ago. The light was low since the sun was just coming up and the arrow made a spark right under the grouse. He must have been amazed at his luck but failed to realize that my buddy had a 20 ga. One dead grouse. Those birds are not bright.
