I've heard Abercrombie Mtn is a good spot for fall bear. Does anyone have any advice on hunting this area?
Do you have a specific spot that you recommend?
Where is the best place to access the area? Northpoint?
If not Abercrombie Mtn, is there somewhere else in this general area that you'd recommend?

Well I went out and checked a few spots near the mtn and some closer to Orient, but didn't see either bears or bear sign.

I think that's where that Canadian kid got munched by that cougar a few weeks ago........ :dunno:

more bear to the south and over by Kettle.

I seen a bear sign by sullivan lake. It showed the difference between a black bear and a grizz

MORE BEAR south? :dunno: try the north too, there are a ton of bears in this corner, abercrombie had snow on it 2 days ago
