We called him "cluby" because of the large clubs of points he had. I wonder why roseys often look more like these stags than rocky mountain elk. I wonder if they are more closely related. It would be interesting to see a map of the genus. Nice looking animal. I bet my wife wouldn't mind going "hunting" with me down in New Zealand...

257, your pard stopped by the other day. Showed him a few cam pics, and antlers.

Saylean, If you are really interested PM me and I will give you a phone number and contact. I did a lot of research, and settled on a american guide. The hunt I chose was a 60,000 acre ranch. Plenty of animals, and great views! Also take your own rifle, their lots of DIY things to hunt. I wasn't successful on the DIY, because I wasn't prepared. But would be glad to pass this information along.
