My deer season may have ended early(Sept 3rd Archery) :archery_smiley: but that doesn't stop me from "shooting" a few more more this year..I took these pics of a nice little buck in an area that Iv always thought should hold deer but never took time to scout. I saw several deer in the area including this guy  ...Hes a little young I think, but next year I think he will be quite the trophy..Iv never been good very good at ageing deer but I suspect this one is around 2 1/2..Let me know what you think

2.5 or 3.5 Glad you posted the pics.

Looks like anothr year or two will make that buck very respectable. I know what you mean about areas that look like they should hold deer. It's great when you check'em, find some bucks, and have the area all to yourself.

i would say 3
-
It looks like it may be a bench buck. A lot of the Bench bucks we watch top out about that size (antler wise). I'd also say 2.5 or 3.5 but he does have a pretty good "V" chest which can mean older buck. Go kill him next year and fill us in.

I would guess 3.5, gonna be a nice buick!

You better keep passing thru, Passin-thru those bucks are i my back yard. :chuckle: :chuckle:

I'm going to need the exact location of these bucks to give you my expert opinion on their ages. :lol4:

great pics, the whole area looks like somewhere I wanna be!

I agree looks like a bench leg. looks like some of the bucks i have taken out of that area. Nice young buck though next year probably won't just be shot by a camera ;)

I think I already have em plugged in.

4-point plus eyeguards, big chest and decent belly... 4.5 years old I'd guess.
That forky looks 2.5 years old. Half year, button buck. At 1.5 probably a big spike or tiny fork. At 2.5 decent forky.

The 4point would look good on my wall now  Mark
