Title: Opening weekend, I-90 advisory
Post by: cle elum bowhunter on October 10, 2009, 09:58:26 PM
Just a little FYI to all the members who plan on migrating over here to gods country for the opener.  I-90 between Easton to Bullfrog Road near Cle Elum is reduced to one lane for major road construction both east and west bound.  Good idea to travel early in the day or late after normal work hours.  On Fridays they have been going 2 lanes eastbound to help traffic, but it still backs up.  Might think about coming over earlier in the week or very early Friday morning.  Good luck and shoot straight to everyone.  Hope my 12yo see some bone this year.

That will put me at Ellensburg around 7:00pm Friday  And I'll break trail on Hwy 20 about 11:00, unless I sleep along the way.

Came through there Friday night.  Eastbound was moving in 2 lanes fairly well.  West bound was one lane only and took us an hour to go about 10 miles through the construction zone.  NOT FUN.

I live in Eburg and have to go to the westside a couple of times a week for work.  Like always, probably avoid eastbound on Fridays and westbound on Sundays.
