St. Maries is a great starting spot, lots of public land to hunt. Areas weve had success in are Grangeville, Kamai, Orifino, St.Maries, get some maps, theres no lack of deer. Good Luck. Post by: popeshawnpaul on January 02, 2008, 10:39:06 AM: In panhandle? Unit 11, but you have to special draw for it. Otherwise, you need to head to southern Idaho. A few mountain units like 12 and some of the others have a few, but nothing serious.
