So yesterday I went through a few pawn shops and was looking to see what rifles there were in each. The first shop I came too didn't have any firearms but did have a compound bow for $150. Since I already have a bow I continued to the next pawn shop looking to see what rifles were available. It just so happens that the last shop I walked into had a .22 rifle with a small scope on it for $90. :yike: The rifle overall almost looked like it was new. It had some scuffs in the stock but in great condition all around. The only down side to my experience is everytime I buy a long gun I get delayed :bash: So I won't be able to pick it up till Sat.

It's probably a contract department store build of the Marlin or Glenfield model 20 or 25 then. Nice plinkin rifle.

if you have never been in trouble and you get selayed someone has the same name as you and they have a rap sheet i went to school with a guy named richard reed spelled the same way as "we all know him"the shoe bomber that tried to light the c4 with a lighter awhile ago so now every time he trys to buy a gun big red flags get sent up and also they have the same middle name lol

When I picked up the .22, I was informed that it was made by Marlin.
On an expensive note from this weekend I also picked up a savage 30 06 on sunday. Just need something to shoot at now. I have just about all my basis covered for hunting almost anything. Still need to site in my 30 06 but that will be done later this week.

Well those are pretty small deer I think you are right about being able to take one down with my .22, what do you use for it?

I used a rem700 .223. It was way to fast. it was a good shot, completely infront of the diaphram, however it was going so fast that the shockwave ruptured parts of the gut. gutted out he weighed 13 kilos i think.
