Title: kittsap county
Post by: joebear on October 17, 2009, 03:50:08 AM: Hey guys I was just wondering about the deer in kittsap? If I cant find the buck I have been hunting on the east side I am thinking of hunting late black tail. I have talked to the biologists and they say the population is great and the rut will be full swing. Also I was wondering the chance of a bit of snow? thanks

Have done no scouting this year but we have had some sucess in Dewarto
Seabeck is good if can get on private land

Post by: big J on November 02, 2009, 08:36:27 AM: the rut will most likely be over by the late season if you pm me your # i will call and talk about areas. the deer have gotten pretty nocturnal the last few weeks but with rifle season ending they should calm down a little

Post by: seansfire on November 02, 2009, 04:08:43 PM: you can hunt there. it is everything on the left side of Bear Creek Dewatto Rd. is mason GMU and it is closed for late season archery. i live near Port Orchard if anyone is looking for a hunting buddy. if you know a good spot i will even drive. i just don't know what i am doing and am looking for a little help getting my first kill. doe or buck it don't matter.
