Looks like I've got two big bucks showing up again on my trailcam this year. I've got pictures of them from last year and one of them has sure grown some points. I think he's a 5x9. The other one seems to break an antler every year unfortunately.
-
:yike: Holy fraking crap. What a couple toads.
-
Can't wait to see the next pic of when you have your hunting tag taped to his rack!
-
That first buck is a hog. Good luck with those boys. Mark
-
Nice backyard bucks for sure!
MS
-
I believe these are the same two bucks from last year, for comparison.
-
Great bucks.
Take the trashy one this year and get the other one next year when he's sporting full hardware.
Just to be clear, if the buck fever didn't get me too bad, I'd be very happy with either.
-
Dandy buck for sure.
-
Saw some flashes tonight... I think he is up there. i might go get em...
-

Probably going to go through a few batteries this fall, if he stays nocturnal.
-
What trail camera is that?
-
The camera is an older Cuddeback C-3000. I purchased it on ebay about 3 years ago and have been very happy with it's picture quality and battery life.
-
cool bucks.that non typical did some growing in a year
-
nice bucks. i seen a droptine blacktail the other day in someones yard eating apples.
-
Latest pictures. Things are starting to pick up as 3 more smaller bucks have shown up in the last week now.
-
cool pics. keep um coming
-
Those really are some neat pictures. I think I will put my cameras up on this side of the state since I took them down for hunting season on the east side. That is a great camera by the way. Keep posting please.
-
Those are some really fat healthy deer, good to see some movement, I've probably covered over 100 miles since the last deer I saw on opening day, getting frustrated. I'm in a new area and apparently it's an area where 80-90% of the bucks are taken late season from talking to others and from what I've been seeing. I usually hunt higher in elevation and see more activity in those areas a week earlier.
-
Freakin pigs man! Sweet crab claws
-
really nice bucks.
is that camera infrared or is it a flash?
-
some nice deer for sure
-
A few more little bucks showing up, but the big boys seem to be getting shy. :dunno: I think the tall 3pt has made a home around this tree.
-
mmm...drippy tarsal glands...can almost smell them through the screen!
-
Man I love Blacktails. Beautiful deer! That Forky is a chunky dude. Awesome!
-
I saw the big boy this morning. Had him broadside at 25 yards. Come on thanksgiving...
-
Wow, nice blackies!!!!
-
Thats crazy having that many bucks hanging around! way cool :)
-
New deer keep trickling in, as I'm up to nine different bucks (5branch/4spikes) on this camera. I have really no clue on the does and fawns. :chuckle: The bigger bucks avoided the main camera, but I did get a couple on the homebrew including the 5x9.
-
that bottom one is a dandy
-
Dandy bucks!
-
awesome
-
On the big boy you can zoom in and see his drop tine...
-
Great Bucks.
-
More pictures of the same animals. Oh darn! :IBCOOL: The big trashy buck has sure been working on the trees and has got some real nice color on his antlers. Always like seeing some of the surprise moments, like potty breaks. :chuckle: And a buck with a double eye guard.
-
I'm guessing that these are battleground unit bucks? I LOVE SW Washington Blacktails... So many of them... My inlaws live in vancouver and i love to bring the bow over turkey day! :IBCOOL:
-
My turkey day will be spent back in the woods with a ML in my hands looking for MR big...
-

x2 for me also
-
That trashy buck is a STUD buck. Love that last photo - classic rutting blacktail in action!
-
Finally got a good picture of the buck I've named Brokenfoot. His left rear hoof area is sure messed up, but he manages. Best I can tell is he got hit by a car in spring of 08 as his antler was a stub on that side last year (see picture). Speaking of cars, I did find a dead fawn :'( out by the main road that the coyote has been eating on, thus the picture of him.
-
great pics.that foot is ugly
-
Awesome pics. You sure are keeping us entertained. When I did my last update on my trail cam pics, I had to erase my old pics in order to put new ones on. I think I did it wrong because you obviously aren't having that issue. Could you give me some advise so I don't have to erase them next time, please?
-
nice cam pics. what a garbled leg too.
-
Kind of slow this week the big non-typical stayed up by the camera for about 2 hours one night, so I got a few more pictures of him. It's interesting to see all the young bucks and be able to spot which ones are his offspring. His all seem to have a large dark patch on the forehead just like him.
-
Looks like that spike is crash's. He has the save black V on his forehead...
-
Look at his tarsal glands - he must stink to high heaven! :archery_smiley:
-
Great pics!!! Wish I had a place like that....
-
that one is sure a great lookin blacky for sure and old as well
-
The deer activity has sure dropped lately. Maybe they found a new source of apples. :dunno: Finally got a decent picture of the trashy bucks drop tines. And yet another buck has shown up, so that makes 10 different ones this year. Unfortunately, the camera had moisture on the lens so his picture is a little blurry.
-
Throw a mineral block out there and you will have them.
-
very nice bucks  when are you going to :hunter: them
-
As expected when the apples supply dried up, so did the majority of the deer. I'm still getting a few of the die-hards, and luckily the big trashy buck is one of them with an appearance every few nights. After the weather warms up I might try a mineral block of some sorts just to keep his interest until those antlers hit the ground.
-
Wow! Awesome blacktail!
