I have a 715-2 v pistol pack (includes 8,6,4,2.5 inch barrels in a custom case). Mine was made in Monson Mass. That is where the company started and built guns from the 70's thru the 80's, and maybe the early 90's. After they went under Dan Wessons son restarted the business in Palmer, Mass. He produced guns for a few years but never regained the early success of the original guns.
Then in the early 2000's Bob serva bought the company and all existing parts and patents and machines and moved everything to New York state.

The Palmer pistols quality is supposed to be less than those produced in Monson or New York but as I have never actually seen a pistol made in Palmer I personally can't verify what people say in that regard.

If the pistol did not come with a barrel wrench you will need to get one to change barrels, also a feeler gauge. Because the barrel is tensioned by the way the barrel is installed Dan Wesson revolvers are usually very accurate and most of the guns have very good triggers.

Hope this helps.
