Not enough info.  It's too hard tocorrectly trouble shoot over the internet.  Have him take it to a pro shop.

More than likely with what you said his nock point is too high.  He needs a bow square to set the nock point at about 90 from the arrow being on the rest in the up position to the string.  Could be other stuff but thats my first guess

take it to a small pro shop. they know more then the guys at the big stores. rest, nock point, anchor point, arrows, the bow. my buddy had a new martin, went through limbs, 2 sets of cams and the stock strings. a year later andnow its awesom. a shop out by yelm took good care of him. or great northwest in puyallup.

need to move nock point down more than likely and the rest needs to be squared to the bow and pro shop can do it for a few bucks :twocents:

I agree sounds like the nock is off, or even his peep site

How can you guys make any kind of suggestion without all the info?  Is he saying that broadheads are flying low and left or field points aren't hitting where he is aiming?  Is he using the same arrows as another set up, spine is off?  How is the timing?  Maybe he is torquing the bow?  Maybe draw length is wrong?  There are way too many variables here.  Better to see it in person to make a guess as to what the issue is.  Don't want anyone to be chasing their tail looking at something that isn't the cause.  Take it to a reputable pro shop and have someone take a look at it.  Good luck.

Where is your friend located? I am still a novice at archery, but I have found Andy at Outdoor Emporium to very helpful with my setting up my bow.

we are up in the Curlew area, and you are correct I was just looking for ideas. I had just gotten a call from my buddy when I was at work and I gave him some areas to look into but wanted more ideas. Thanks for all the tips, I'm pretty sure he is bringing it in to a pro shop today down by Chewelah.
