opening day 715 am seen him cross canyon so i scoped him saw he was good then i ranged him at 403yrds. got a steady prone rest over a stump and torched off the 7mm mag drilled him in the heart. then he proceeded to roll down the hill and over a 60 ft rim rock cliff and nail a pine tree. The whole way down the canyon and up the other side I knew he wouldnt have any horns left when i got to him. to my suprise he didnt even have a chip missing. awesome fun!! secret location in the blues!!

Beautiful buck! My buddy hunted the Blues on opening day but didn't get anything. He did see a bear but didn't have a tag for it. Love the Blues! :chuckle:

Nice heavy horned buck.

Right on man! Dandy buck!
-
Thats one of the nicest bucks I've seen come outa the blues.
:yeah: I didn't know that the Blues could produce bucks like that. Nice job! What was the pressure like where you were hunting? That's my biggest reason for staying out of the Blues, to many fuggin people.
-
Nice buck. Great shooting.
-
the hunting pressure was pretty severe. that is why I put on my pack frame and head into the deepest darkest hole i can find. this time it paid off.
-
Congrats, beautiful buck.
-

-
Beautiful Buck man! Congrats!
-
thx again
-
Awesome looking buck, nice and heavy!
-
403 yards, man that is a long shot. But you made it happen. One shot through the heart. Awesome. You obviously know what your gun can do as well as your own ability. Congratulations!
-
only reason I took the shot is because i was prone and had an extremely solid rest, no wind, and several practice sessions thanks :bfg:
-
way to put in the time before season. good buck!

Danny Buck congrats!

I don't hunt deer there so you can tell me.. :chuckle:

Great buck, nice long range shot

Way to go! I know there are isolated pockets of mulies in the Blues that hold big bucks, but I have never managed to find them. Congrats man. I know you worked hard for that one. Keep that location under lock and key, buried in the backyard...
(unless of course you want to send me a PM... :chuckle:)
-

Congrats on the Toad! He is by far the best I've seen in the Blues, and I've got a few cams down in the blues... I'm even more impressed that you knew your gun at the long range, I get peeved by people "getting lucky" with long shots...So, Kudos to you good sir!
-

I am blessed to have him as my number one hunting partner. thanks for all the great compliments so far and hope to see some of you alls big bucks. shoot straight my friends :bfg: :party1:

-
havent scored him yet. what do you guys think?? 150?155? :dunno:
If he had a back fork on his left side I'd say he'd bust 160. No eyeguards, no G2, you're probably right. 155-ish I think...
He's definitely one of those bucks where the score doesn't tell the tale...
-
Irregardless of the Score...that's a dandy! As stated right before me...The score doesn't tell the tale.
-
looks like a nice one to me bro!
-
I would be proud to have that on my wall nice job!
-
beautiful buck for sure!
I get peeved by people "getting lucky" with long shots...So, Kudos to you good sir!
