I live in Monroe and I'm looking for a reputable gunsmith in the area that won't overcharge me to take a look and see what the problem is on a shotgun I have. I am always very hesitant to just look up someone in the phonebook or online without recommendations from real customers (not the ones on yahoo where their friends all go and say something nice about them). My only 2 requirements of this person are that they are fairly close to home (Monroe) and that they are an honest and fair business man/woman.

Give Rick Freudenberg a call. He has a shop at Sams shooting range in Everett.
I've used him for a couple tinkerings on rifles I have and he was fairly priced and did nice work. Not positive he works on shotguns but I'll bet he does.
