How do you get in deep in the North River unit. I checked it out a few years ago for muzzle loader, but couldn't find a locked gate to walk in from. I was hunting from the north side of the unit.

I had seen a good number of gates while on my hunt there a few years back.......keep at it you will see em'. I would zero you in, but they are not plentiful enough IMO.

You are not referring to the possibility of snow in the North River Unit are you Georgia?  If so i wouldnt get my hopes up.  Just wondering since this is under the North River post.

Calling for snow friday thru monday at 4000 and above. Lost three trailers and our entire camp to the freak snow from about 5 years ago so we do not set camp early anymore....at least not up that high.

We lost our camp that year too!  Brother almost lost his truck!   They are camped at about 3400 ft. this year.
