Title: Aladdin Unit (111) reports
Post by: croix on November 06, 2009, 01:35:22 PM
Tomorrow I am heading to the NE corner for 9 days and from what I gather the deer population may not be as good as it has been in the past. Just curious if there are any current reports for the Aladdin Unit from some of you who may have been there recently.

I look forward to this trip all year long, so I'm going regardless of what hopes I may have of knockin one down. Last year was pretty tough and our group didn't take nearly as many deer as previous years. How would you guys say this year is stackin up compared to last year?

Thanks

Its a good year for mature bucks. We haven't had a killer winter for at least 7 years in NE WA. I see whitetail bucks all the time while driving. Their necks are already beginning to inflate and the forecast is for mountain snow. You're in for a good season.

Wow! Not at all what I expected. Seems a little early for rut based on what I've seen in previous years there. Fantastic. Thanks for the info. Now I'm even more excited than I already was.
