Title: First Bull Down
Post by: Slayerz on November 09, 2009, 07:54:29 PM: Yesterday, my brother was able to take his first bull elk in NE WA. It was a short shot of about 40 yards, but when the elk hit the ground, the work began. The bull was over a mile from the truck and about 1200 vertical feet above the truck, with a large creek bottom separating the two. The hard work involved with getting the elk out just makes the hunting memory that much more sweeter.

Downhill drags arent much easier than flat or uphill though lol!
Still, i too would have taken such a nice elk home for dinner(s)
