Title: Palouse Late Hunt
Post by: bigdave on November 10, 2009, 11:52:30 AM: Had a wet and windy weekend down in the palouse. No buck yet. Saw a forkie, a four point (on property I don't have permission to hunt) and a bunch of does. Almost all of them were spotted after it stopped raining on Sunday. The mud was nasty. They are following does so I am still holding out hope for next weekend. Here are some pics.

Crossed that river and killed more ducks and geese on that stetch of river than you could shake a stick at. There is always a big buck in that first timbered draw across the river........they will also lay right above the river (across the river) from the barn in the flat. ;)

Post by: Moosehunt on November 10, 2009, 02:13:35 PM: I was over on the Palouse this weekend as well. One windy Saturday. I have a Palouse Tag as well. Nothing to write home about yet. All the does I saw were alone???? Hopefully it will heat up for the weekend.
