Title: hand washin pack in scent killer
Post by: Instinct on November 11, 2009, 10:20:03 PM: hey i was wondering if its nessecery to hand wash ur hunting pack in scent killer laundry detergent in a bath tub and let it hang dry outside. sense scent concielment seems like a big part of bow hunting, any thoughts would be great.

Same here. Doesn't matter anyways as long as you use the thermals to your advantage and keep the wind in your face.

Hang to dry & then spray down with scent killer spray. I know the scent killer spray kills human odors but I think the extra scrub down takes care of other scents like car exhaust , storage odor etc. I bag it up after cleaning & take out when I need it. I only stand hunt & I know my efforts help. Mike
