Yep, that's definately him. The buck of my dreams, that is...

There have been some incredible bucks posted on here the past couple years but that buck to me is one of, if not the best from this state. It has mass, good eye guards, lots of points, width, and character. If anyone wants to complain about the crab claw fronts, go ahead and pass on bucks like this so I may someday be able to harvest one like him.

ive drooled over that buck ever sense i joined this site. awesome buck. to bad he was road kill :bash:

i would like to see what it scored. knowing it was roaming within a mile of where i use to hunt at that time really kills me

Yeah, about 14 miles (crow miles).

15 miles isn't nothing to migrating mule deer, could have easily spread the genes..

That is right, the roadkill buck was more than likely on his way to winter range. That was an awesome buck also. Anyone in the know have an idea where that rack ended up?

By the way, I'm pretty sure their are many people that know these wintering ground locations...it's the beauty of the hunt...the deer are more visible, vulnerable and a hunter can be more selective.
