After a few of the posts on here, like the bear and salt to name one, I'm surprised anyone shares their hunts "with details".
I'm such a trouble maker.
Oh yeah, that is one heck of a buck.

Yep, that's definately him. The buck of my dreams, that is...
There have been some incredible bucks posted on here the past couple years but that buck to me is one of, if not the best from this state. It has mass, good eye guards, lots of points, width, and character. If anyone wants to complain about the crab claw fronts, go ahead and pass on bucks like this so I may someday be able to harvest one like him.
CONGRATS to the hunter.
-
 Now that is one hell of a buck.

same gene pool??????
-
great lookin deer
-
Someday
-
Great Buck....gongrats to the hunter!!!

Wow hope to get one of those some day!
-
same gene pool??????
ive drooled over that buck ever sense i joined this site. awesome buck. to bad he was road kill :bash:
i would like to see what it scored. knowing it was roaming within a mile of where i use to hunt at that time really kills me
-
a buck like that has got to have a great story behind it. someone needs to get the shooter to post the story. i'm sure all of us would love to read about the hunt. it's truly a monster. Big10gauge get your buddy to post the story and a few more pics if he has them.
-
Slinger, could be!
-
i'll hazard a solid guess that there's several miles in between the road kill buck's former residence and the buck that got killed by the lucky hunter.

15 miles isn't nothing to migrating mule deer, could have easily spread the genes..

That is right, the roadkill buck was more than likely on his way to winter range. That was an awesome buck also. Anyone in the know have an idea where that rack ended up?

Same possible scenerio was about to happen to that big one I was taking pics of, but for some reason someone standing there with a big white lens deterred them. LOL Slider, where were you with that big white lens of yours?

Typically most won't send a pm or even reply to a post like this, but I looked at the recycled posts and I can not for the life of me figure out why they were deleted.

I do too a great Mission Buck! :)
-
Very cool...
-
Is there some satisfaction in saying that you located a buck before somebody else? By the way, I'm pretty sure their are many people that know these wintering ground locations...it's the beauty of the hunt...the deer are more visible, vulnerable and a hunter can be more selective.
Awesome deer to whoever got it.
-
I heard this buck was taken up horse lake road... Isn't that area closed to hunting! Please correct me if I'm wrong.
-
What unit? I see the familular sagebrush.....Don't want to find your honey hole. I hunt the east side also and was just wondering how close or how far you were from us. :dunno:
-
Just as long as it wasn't from Hillbilly's honeyhole :yike: :yike: :yike:.
-
