Title: north river report
Post by: strutnrut1984 on November 12, 2009, 03:36:46 PM: well just got back from my elk hunt in the north river unit, seen 35 cows and calves and 1 spike in 5 days of hunting. sign wasnt there like last season. hunted back locked gate rds. thankgod for my popup blind . the weather was pretty crappy. but all in all had agood hunt saw some nice bucks and man they are ruttin hard. i saw 2 bulls taken that i know of a 3 pt and a4pt. very little shooting. but i got some good info for next season. thanks for your time strut
