Title: Where is it legal to harvest an elk today?
Post by: HntnFsh on November 19, 2009, 06:17:54 PM: Just curious. Saw a pickup headed east on 505 from the Toledo Winlock exit.Had a small branch bull in the back whole.

Didnt realize anything was open.But cant find my regs to check them out.

Post by: bobcat on November 19, 2009, 08:51:13 PM: I don't think there was anything open for elk today, at least not in SW Washington. Must have been a tribal member. Or I suppose it could be somebody who got a permit from the WDFW for elk doing damage to their property.

Of course, it could have just been an idiot too.

In other parts of the state there are 3 youth hunts and 9 master hunter damage hunts open today.
