Ground it and jerky it.

Other wise do the same thing with this that you would a bear steak or bear stew. Both sometime can be on the bad side of eatting but arent bad if you know how or what to cook them in.

I like to grill mine and put as many vegetables in a pan and what ever seasonings i can in it and fry it.....nothing to serious. just plain eatting. you can cut the meat into slices and pan fry or just flower coat them and bake em with johny salt....................

I  like it as jerky. Dogs wont eat it but I think its great. Most people think it would be nasty but its great stuff.

those sound like good recipes. The best one I ever smoked was with injected with 180 grains in the face. It was sweet. 7mm at about 75 yards straight on. Thing did a complete back flip. Not the best recipe for tanning hides though.  :dunno:

I usually inject with 50 grains of lead though.

Put the coyote roast in a pot- add 1/2 cup of salt, 1/2 bottle of favorite whiskey (I prefer 7), and five golfball sized smooth stones, boil the mixture for four hours.
Throw out the meat and rotten whiskey,  and eat the stones and drink the leftovers from the bottle.
This also works great for ducks.  :chuckle:

1. Cut into thick strips 5-6 inches long.

2. Place in a well oiled pre-heated Iron pan, meat should sizzle.

3. Take 3 beers into the TV room, drink with 3 shots of 80proof anything at an aggressive pace.

4. Flip meat.

5. Repeat step 3.

6. Place meat on paper towels to soak up excess oil. (optional; repeat step 3)

7. Serve. (optional; repeat step 3, ask self what the **** am I doing,  call for pizza)

Also works for Spam.

Possum is just to ugly to eat. Raccoon? not the inner city garbage eaters I hope.  Horse?  You see a lot of it in Japanese butcher shops.

Horse is gooooood. Back in the day(early 70s), Pike Place market used to sell it. Much cheaper than beef and if you know your parasitology very few parasites. I guess with all the PETA and others horse is not thought of as a prime cut, but I'd eat it again as long as I knew it was free range. hahahahahahahaha :chuckle:

Don't remember where I heard it or if it's true that some of those wild horses the BLM rounds up go to overseas butcher shops.

I've eaten raccoon, possum, skunk, rattlesnake... There was some old rednecks in Iowa that used to host a wild game feed and bring all these things.  They all tasted ok.
I'll have to keep the horse thing in mind...With the cost of hay my wife's herd is getting a little expensive

Ive also eaten coon, possum, rattle snake, hedge hog, camel, squirrel, chicken gizzards, chitlins, creek salamanders, frogs, turtle, carp well fed on dead human bodies and raw sewer, sting ray, shark, gator, Ive ripped hunks of flesh off of a tuna flopping all over the boat and bleeding every where so I could stomach it right there to the dismay of an entire party boat of deep sea fishermen, also eaten crow, hawk, and owl.

some doing survival training, some being a redneck, some eating with locals in the middle east, some of those Id rather not explain...lol

coyote doesn't sound that gross to me...lol

then again, Im probably the only guy you all know that could go on the TV Show SURVIVOR  and gain weight  :IBCOOL::IBCOOL:
