Does anyone know if you can hunt up the Taylor mountain forrest road just off the Hobart exit?!?! i dont see any signs or info that says you cant, but i dont see anything that says you can either. Im trying to find a close place to hunt late muzzy elk cause i took all my time off for deer, and it looks like part of the Taylor mountain road is an open GMU for it, just not sure if you can hunt it..anyone know?

If you're referring to the southwest side of Taylor Mountain where you enter off of Issaquah-Hobart road (near Hwy 18), my understanding is no hunting. This is a King County Natural Area. Like you, I wanted to hunt this area earlier this year and did some research on www.kingcounty.gov . I couldn't find conclusive info regarding my question, so I call the county. After getting bounced around by a lot of people I finally spoke with someone in the Natural Resources division who is responsible for this area. The answer I got from him was no hunting.
You can hunt the central and north areas of Taylor. Just be aware of the 460/454/490 boundaries.
