Got a report today from a friend, Williamette is starting to heat up, one problem this weekend he also found a body on the river near a decent hole and the local sheriff wanted him to stay a bit longer than expected, just when the fishing got good..... maybe it added some chum! Did I just open the flood gates for the YAR boys and girls....

Sure, always looking for folks that want to go after a few Dinosaurs....   Maybe  we could start posting when people are running like I have seen on other forums and folks are available, they are welcome...

Well maybe not all :bdid:, one or two I rather not have on my boat, they'd probably be seeing what the bottom of the Columbia was like...  I'll exclude their posting names....... :chuckle:

Like i was saying in the post that didn't post??? I just got my boat back today and I'll be scouting around. I haven't fished the local waters in the winter yet, but I did fairly well last spring/summer. If you'd like maybe we could do a trip swap. I fish shallow water off river mouths in Snohomish & Skagit county. I would like to try some of the rivers down south sometime. I'll keep you posted on whats happening up here.

Ripper for sure, went once to the northern river, saw one caught, but wasn't really sure of too many holes.  Did learn they like the shallows there for sure.  When you ready to run let me know.  Winter time - I like the Willamette, it's fun for sure, but man driving an hour north sure would be nice for a change instead of three hours south...
