Title: Steelhead
Post by: Jburke on November 25, 2009, 10:36:03 AM
Has anyone been doing any fishing on any of the upper Columbia or tributaries that they opened?  Methow, Entiat, Wenatchee, Icicle, or the Okanogan?  I'm going over that way for thanksgiving and will have some spare time on Saturday to do some pheasant hunting and/or steelhead fishing.

I'm not sure if I'd spend much time pheasant hunting there, but the steelhead fishing has been pretty consistant.  Especially in the Columbia.

Good luck finding a pheasant in the Methow.  There are more wolves there than pheasants.

The pheasant hunting will be farther south than that.  I know where to go for them, just was wondering about the fishing.
