If you need road info about Mashel, contact Nancy Barker with the DNR South Puget Sound Region at 253-312-4301. She will tell you what roads are open for hunting in that area. I was up there scouting last weekend and didn't see squat. Lot's of snow and no tracks. Saw lotsa guys hunting up behind the Elbe store area but no kills. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving! :hello:

I have not hunted the area myself but did have two friends that hunted it the entire late season and did not see a deer to shoot. However they did see a couple gettng loaded in to the truck.

Good luck to you and your nephew out there.
