Title: Mule deer scoring question
Post by: haugenna on November 30, 2009, 09:10:18 PM
Is the spread from tip to tip counted in the scoring of a typical mule deer buck?

I just got done watching the best of the worst (west) and they had a guy go through all the measurements and he did not mention the tip to tip spread.  Is that counted?

The only spread that is counted,  is the inside spread of the main beams.  The tip to tip measurement is supplemental.
