Shot this late season buck from my stand at 40 yards. I had just watched a doe and two fawns walk by and this guy was hot on their tails. I thought it was the four point I had a pic of on my cam. Looking to have him mounted, anyone recommend a good taxidermist around cowlitz county?

Congrats, nice bucks, but have one question your title says western late buck, I see alot of scrub oaks in the background. :dunno: Where are you from and how far do you want to travel to take your trophy for a mount?

Nice buck. Story?

I'm going to guess the 578 unit for that buck. He's a wide one. Congrats! :)

I'm not sure it's in Washington...could it be an Oregon buck?

Nice wide Oregon buck. I couldn't do my tag any justice as I had a bad cold. I may try to get down one last time.

Be careful, some people might get jealous and call it a mule deer. Nice buck though, that is a heck of a buck!
