Title: Chukar
Post by: Upland Fool on December 04, 2009, 11:31:59 AM
After reading many posts on chukar hunting I finally decided to give it a shot. I really like the fact that all of you out there not only give good advice but also general locations. So in general terms I went out Durr Road aka "Goat Path". Glad to have 4wd.  Got to the top of a promising ridge and the dog and I worked the sidehill about 100 yards down from the top. Didn't take long to get into chukar. However it took all day to get three. I am so sore. I can't believe my Brittany can still walk. Wish I had pics to post but the camera got left at home.

Lots of chukar on the north side of chelan too. Not that bad of a drive to get there but the walk is hell on bad knees.
