I just found a smoking deal on ammo at Morgan Creek Outfitters in downtown Sedro-Woolley, Wa.
Blazer 9mm. 115grain ammo is $12.99 a box
CCI Blazer 22 ammo in a 500 round brick for $19.95
If you need ammo, they have plenty!

19.99 for 500 rds of .22lr?!? No thanks. It was just a couple years ago you could find it on sale for 12.99 or less. Today at Bi-Mart they had a couple different brands for 16.99, I passed on that too in favor of shotshells.

If you don't mind 10% misfires and dirty guns. Good deal.

Decent deal on the 9mm. The 22lr is about what it goes for around here, when I can find it. I have a few thousand stockpiled but it goes quickly.
Federal is $16.99 at BiMart, but federal is not nearly as consistent as the blazer. 5,000 + rounds of CCI Blazer shot and never had one misfire in a lot of different guns, plus it is cleaner than any of the copper plated ammo, but that is because CCI makes some of the most consistent 22 ammo on the market. I like their CF also, always been very reliable. Remington just plain sucks. Winchester 333 packs have been getting a lot of good reviews, I have a couple of cases just have not gotten to them.
Ammo prices from years ago is not really on parity with cost of ammo today. It has gone up with inflation and metal prices.

I actually prefer the federal bulk pack hps over the cci blazers for my bulk .22 plinking. Hands down the best is the CCI stinger.
