just wondering if there was any bulls that came out of wa this year that were over the 400 hundred inch mark and if there is pics if there has been
-
there was a muzz bull from somewhere that was on here and 2 blues bulls that were definitely close. all 3 have been on here before.
-
Check out boone and crockett.com it shows 1 of them in the tropyh watch!
-
i posted a topic similar(i know im late) but i heard from a guy at oak creek feedin station that was a 400+ bull on bethel ridge but nobody could get a shot off :dunno: he wasnt talkin to me, i just overheard it, so who knows
-
I belive it about bethel ridge, I've seen some big bulls up there over the last few years!!
-
sup 408 bull from observ. muzzy , I saw this bull and had him at 100 yards , he didnt look alot bigger than my 335 bull when they where brawling , I don't know if he's scored him yet but I'm sure it's a gross score he had some deductions and real good mass . I think you can see him under muzzy bull.
-
assuming the 398" non typical from eburg muzzy special draw made its way on here no?
-
I'd love to see a pic, cmon hook us up!
-
Here you go!This bull, which was taken with a muzzleloader, is reported to have come from central Washington near Cle Elum with a score of 408.
Do a search for 8x8, the hunters name is Nailbender on here!
-
I tried several days to photograph that bull live. What a pain. I had him close with two archery hunters, one on each side hoping he'd go their way, but nope.
-
I know of two legit 400" bulls killed but I can't say where. I'll just say it wasn't the blues. there were a couple that were real close but I haven't heard of any 400's from the blues.

I had it scored B&C Dec. 2nd and the final score was non-typical 393 5/8 net. Gross was 406 and change. 13 or 14 inches in deduction. The standing WA Blackpowder record is 393 1/8. SO.. my 1/2" beats the standing record as I am told. This is my "bull of a lifetime" anyway I look at it. Still really hasn't sunk in.

Congrats Nailbender, nothing short of a once-in-a-lifetime bull for Wa state!!
-
Congrats on that final score , he is a HOG!! Congrats on your bull of a lifetime man!
-
Great bull what a hog! Love to see the traditional muzzie too, no 200 yard pokes with that. Good job. nwhunter

That's because there are no more 400" bulls left in the Blues. They all left. Everyone should start putting in for tags in other units... :chuckle:

See? Told ya... ;)

Man...that is a good lookin' bull!
Congrats!
-
were not talking centimeters lol those are big bulls
-
Always enjoy reading about the "400" elk sitings and kills reported in Washington. Just a reminder...there are only four 400 inch bulls from Washington that have ever been entered in the B&C Record Book...1 typical (1999) and 3 non-typical (2008, 2003 and 1959).
-
Way to go nailbender. Great Bull for sure.
-
Hey Nailbender,
The Muzzleloader that you made looks like a toothpick laying on those heavy G-2s!! I guess I was pretty close when I rough measured him in front of my shop. Didn't I come up with 406 and change (gross) also? Man what an incredible bull!
-
nice bull nailbender
-
nailbender that is an awesome bull....congrats  :brew:
-
Yeah that is a nice bull... and even better that I made him pass on a 340's bull seconds before at like 40 yards... when he was ready to shoot I said no no no wait ... "nailbender says what the F**k you mean don't shoot!!!" I say shoot the one below us.... He is bigger... Little did we know he was this big... Great hunt and will remember it for years...
And it was a sweet shot and even got it on video! This year its the wifes turn to break into the BC club....
-
Does anyone have pictures of any live bulls in bethel from last year to now?... i got drawn for archery sept 6-18...
-
I am sure there is a outfitter on here who has lots of pics of that unit ;)
-
That Chris Morgenroth kill a 400" rosey on the bogachiel river in the early 1900's. They keep it at a lodge in Forks but I believe it fell off the wall in the 70's and was damaged a bit so they cannot enter it in the books.

He didn't get that big by being dumb that's for sure. Plus not a whole lot of pressure here in the teanaway

Look up Norse on this site.
-
I frequent Bethel but I don't tend to tell which unit a particular bull is from. ;)
-
Man Nailbender that bulls a stud . He came close to getting a arrow in him and the riffle rut tag holder had him on the boundry . I guess he didn't have three lives . There's another stud in that unit aswell so we will see if he goe's down soon !
-
I know where one is. I seem him every year in the same place. He loves to sit and pose for me, although I have never taken his picture. We just sit and watch each other for a while until one of us gets board. He's in a spike only area so he knows he's safe. Every once and a while I would raise my rifle just to see him in my scope and he would look at me like...ya go ahead, I dare ya. One of these years maybe I'll draw a tag and that will be the end of him. :guns:
