Title: Knight Bighorn, What are you shooting out of it?
Post by: SkookumHntr on December 23, 2009, 09:40:56 PM: -Just want to see what the guys with a knight bighorn are shooting, powder, bullet? Need some ideas to start, more of a good elk load that hits hard and can reach out there!

musket caps

I have tried 2 and 3 50 grain pellets. My gun shot much better with the full 3 pellets.

Most people seem to like the loose powder better.

Post by: stumprat on December 26, 2009, 06:16:02 AM: 90 grains of 777 loose. And switched this year to Powerbelt 295 grain Jacketed hollow points. The bore on my Bighorn is too tight for most sabots.
Switched to the Powerbelt and am very happy with them.
