Title: How can I get it mounted?
Post by: Ranger91298 on December 30, 2009, 11:24:14 PM: I have a set of Whitetail antlers (7x6) that my dad shot back in the 70's and I am toying with the idea of getting a shoulder mount done. I do not have a cape for it, how would I go about getting one and then having it mounted? Estimated cost for everything? Thanks for the help...Scott

Post by: huntindoc on December 30, 2009, 11:33:12 PM: Figure about $50-75 for a cape, then what ever your taxidermist costs. That is a guess on the cape cost, but it's about that for a mulie. Should be similar

Post by: carpsniperg2 on December 31, 2009, 12:10:31 AM: about average you are looking at 450-500 for a deer shoulder mount then the cape any taxi should be able to get for you without a problem will cost about 75.00 so that should get you a soild guess on total price.

Post by: BLKBEARKLR on December 31, 2009, 09:13:21 AM: I can get awesome whitetail capes for around 80.00, they come from Wisconsin I can usually get up to 21 inches at that price. I charge 425.00 plus cape of 80.00 and tax. Hope that helps you

Was able to get that off the plaque today for you, Did not do any damage to the plaque, so it is here when you swing by.

Like said last night I am not an official scorer, but I ran the tape on it today and here are the results
