Cool! First of many. Once you get that first one out of the way they come pretty steady! Congrats!
-
Thats cool! I always thought banded gads were pretty rare.

Good job on the banded bird. We have picking up a few this past month.
-
been pretty much exclusively gadwall for us for the last week or two makes for a pretty easy hunt but honestly would rather be shooting greenheads like this place usually produces, must be a push of gadwalls coming down possibly

Man, I want to get a banded duck! Saw a banded Green head today.

Congrats! I have harvested a lot of ducks over the years on the eastside of the state. I stopped duck hunting 4 years ago and in 24 years of shooting ducks and geese never bagged a band.

My very first duck, a drake Greenwing Teal that I shot in South Carolina in 1967 had a band on it. Wonder what the odds are on that.... :chuckle:

I get lucky on the bands. I shoot a few every year. :dunno:
