what bullet and groups is everybody getting and what do you consider a good group
-
That is very subjective to your rifle. What yardage are talking? At 100 yrds 3-5 shot groups at 1" 1 1/2" .504 cal with 510 grain lead conical is my standard. .451 with 460gr lead conical 1" 1/14" at 100 and .410 with 325gr lead conical 1" er less at 100 yrds.

hahaha i just clicked recent topic lol read and didn't look at section
o.k. then i used the t/c dead centers 340's for years had nothing but good luck with them killed all the animals i shot with them in one shot other than the ones i spinned of course :chuckle: i got about 3" groups at 100 yards and that was just fine by me. now i am shooting the barnes tmz 290's killed my first deer with it this year. they shot about as good as my t/cs but i am not going to say i like them more or less need a few years with them but they worked just as good from my little experiance with them.

I sight mine in at 50 yards..... I'm 3.5" high @ 50 yds.... Usually all bullet hole's are touching... 1"-2", 3 shot group..... 1.5"-1.75" high @ 100 yds.... I usually get a 1"-3", 3 shot group.... (just a check to make sure) 295 gr Power Belt... It puts me @ about 130-135 yd zero..... 3" low @ 150 yds..... Which I feel is my max range with my ML using iron sights if conditions are perfect.... Probably will never happen, but I'm prepared if the opportunity arises.... :twocents: :dunno:
