Title: Top Waterfowl Taxidermist???
Post by: h2ofowlr on January 03, 2010, 10:03:32 PM: I have a few birds lined up and was looking at some new options for waterfowl taxidermy. I wanted to see who were some of the top prospects in the state for doing quality waterfowl? Any info would be appreciated.

I do decent birds, but one of the best in the state would be John at WC Taxidermy, a great guy to talk to and an awesome bird guy.

Post by: h2ofowlr on January 05, 2010, 07:20:13 PM: I have a brant being done right now from last season. I found a guy east of Lacey. It was supposed to be done in August. He thinks he might have it done in January now. We will see. Thanks for the advise. I will see about dropping one off with him. I am going to buy some taxidermy supplies and mount up a few over the winter and see how they turn out as well. My really good ones I will let someone with a bit more taxidermy knowledge take care of those.
