We saw this guy while camping a couple years back. Pretty sure my dad sent an arrow under him the year before. Anyway How big do you think he is. The 3pt he was running with was a respectable 3pt and he made him look small. Made the spike look like a fawn. In these pictures he is still in velvet.
(everyone should ask jeffreyvegas how it felt to watch his arrow go under this guy)
-
The 3 point looks like a 4 pointer with a 20+ spread and the big guy looks easy 30+. Maybe they are all bros. Bros before does right? What county is that?
-
Bros before does all day. Is okanogan a county?
-
Since his forks are not extremely deep I would put him at 180 to mid 180's
-
I would say 180
-
Great forks. High 180ies!
-
170-175
-
170-175
You're funny!
-
156. Now let me know where he is. In October I will go get him and we can all measure him together and prove me wrong. :chuckle: :chuckle: :IBCOOL: :IBCOOL:

3pt ? What picture are you looking at, thats a magnum 4 pt!
-
my mistake...4 point...sorry
-
I'm impressed with the body size of that big boy as well. He dwarfs his little buddies.
Shootmoore
-
Mid 150's. No help from eyeguards and I would guess the width at around 28"
-
170-175
You're funny!
i'm usually not funny. thanks.
the velvet makes him look bigger. he's a beatuful buck but he's not high 180's. i'd be prouder than a peacock to have him on my wall.
-
I wanted to verify if you were funny or not....but will have to wait to see it from home. :)
-
I'm with Jack, low 170's
-
Is it a three?
-
I agree with the 170 ish mark also. It's a 4x4 Bone.
-
165" to 170" ;)
-
the velvet makes him look bigger.
As does the short-cropped Summer coat of hair, which makes the body look smaller than it does with his Winter coat. But in my book that's unquestionably a shooter! Very nice buck.
-
THanks Wapiti, a 170 3 would be one heck of a trophy. I'll just have to be patient and see it from home. Velvet does normally really make a deer look bigger.
-
GOOD BUCK, definately a 170 deer. Nice find.
-
First thought was 170, and Im sticking to it!
-
He'll gross around 166" Nice WA buck!
-
Good buck for washington. No chance at 180 but should make low 170's. Without front shot hard to guess spread and beams without being on the high end. These angles are where deer tend to look the biggest.
-
I'd give him a solid 170 gross. Dandy!
-
He's a stud that's for sure. If he's still around next season he will likely add some mass also. What a buck!
-
here are a couple more pictures for good measure. I put the one of the three pt just to get an idea of what he looked like without the monster next to him.
-
I think I would let that buck have a place on the wall somewheres
-
Nice buck 170ish
-
either way one heck of a nice buck regardless the score
-
i would put him in the soild 160 class very nice deer i don't think he has the forks to make 170"
-
Nice buck 170ish
:yeah:
-
I would guess in the 170's easy. nice buck fo sure. :)
-
175ish would be my guess... I think he's got eye guards so that'd put him up close to 180" POSSIBLY. Great buck!
-
at 45 yrds broadside, with arrow passing a couple inches below the kill zone, he looked 280, ya ya. very nice buck
-
Great buck! 170's?
-
175 gross. You guys saying 160 are crazy.

I was "funny" when i first said 170.
