I used a gift card that I got for Christmas to go to Cabelas and get a new Trail Camera last weekend. So yesterday I wanted to go set-up the camera to try it out.
I opened up the box and couldn't find the instructions, or the cables that were supposed to come with it, so I take it back to Cabelas and exchange it for a new camera to get the instructions and the other stuff that is supposed to come with it. Well, the new camera didn't have them either.
You guys probably know this, but all the stuff was inside the battery compartment. I felt like a fool, but then another employee at Cabelas overheard my conversation with the employee I was dealing with and she said she had 5 guys come in the day before to return the cameras because of no instructions and USB cables, etc.
Anyway, I thought I'd mention this in case any newbie to trail cams (like me) gets one and can't find the instructions......... :P

Cabelas calls it "Outfitter Cam". It is a 5 Megapixel camera by Moultree. It was on sale for $100.....regular $150. It came w/ a 1GB card.

sounds like a nice camera. but yes cabelas either hides their instructions or give very poor ones. When i got my bow package i had to put it together and it was a pain. i finally whent to their site, found the item, and zoomed the picture too see wehre the parts and bolts went. 30 pieces no instructions takes a little while to figure out.
