Yep. All the years of closed fishing, the tire reef and the nearby dive park have really helped the bottomfish in that area.

i concur. iv caught 3, one right near the breakwater on the south side of the marina and 2 up by the ferry docks that were all around 60in. one female actually came up and swallowed a small male as i was just getting it to the boat, she was never hooked and didn't spit him out till we got her in the net. too bad we had let em all go... huge damn things.

I love the pictures man!! I scuba dive and man seeing a huge ling is pretty sweet! i just wish i had the underwater housing for my camera lol

I've caught/speared many near the Possesion Ferry and surrounding area. Try using whole sanddaps and hang on!
