Title: Anyone have ballistic software?
Post by: Galpster on January 18, 2010, 01:52:18 PM: The archery guys are doing it and I thought someone has to have one for rifle, bullet combos. If anyone does I have a Remington 30.06 700 BDL shooting Remington Corelokt 150 grain exclusively. Thinking about going up to 165 grain if the ballistics are better.

Exactly, all the above for 150 grain and 165. Maybe even inch drop at 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards. Just some useful data to remember when thinking about taking a shot.

They also have an "advanced" calculator that will give all kinds of info. In order to make those calculations you are going to have to have more info than caliber and bullet weight. (BC, velocity, etc.)
