Ummmm....I don't think so. I believe he is a member on this site and posted the pics and story about a month or so ago. If I rmember right he found a fresh set of good tracks and tracked him down. Nice cat and even a better story.
flyguide shot it about a month ago.

The story is on the link I posted.

Huge cat, original story and thread were great to read. Jerry, you can't believe everything you read,.........318 lbs!? Come on!
-
318lbs huh? maybe if it was an african lion.
-
Just got it in a Email from a friend , didnt know about this before then , the pic had a date of 1/17/2010 so i figured it was for real . MY BAD :bash: I got Punked you guys .
Now for the 318 lb part. look at the size of that animal next to a 200 lb man , looks like it could go 300 to me . I was a little afraid to post this as i have seen many like it on the internet and then the REAL story comes out . I figured someone would say it was shot three years ago in Montana or Idaho .
so What did it Weigh???????
-
This cat weighed an estimated 140-160 lbs, on the paw... No where near 300, but a beautiful cat!
-
Weighed more than a tabby cat, less than a Bengal tiger.
Don't think he was chowin on the Wiskas.
-
read the book that del cameron wrote on hound hunting. he stopped keeping track after 200 lions and he only treed a few that were close to 200lbs. 300lbs sounds like someones blowing smoke. you ever tried to pack something that big through snow? if its 300 post a pick of it on the scale. :bs:
-
this is when you know the site has gotten a little too big :chuckle:
-
hahaha thats to funny i guess that cat when it was posted by a member here who killed the cat at 160 pounds maybe 170ish all the cougar hunts are closed but one with dogs and it aint around ellensburg :chuckle: don't shoot one if it come to your calls jerry :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: they are closed :chuckle: :chuckle:

I can only dream that one of my animals becomes an internet legend. I got some trail cam pic of a cougar in an email once that was a member on here. Go Washington hunters!!!! :P
-
My word that thing is huge. What a stud of a cat.

If its not a 20 pound housecat called Bobbie, it isn't a trophy. LOL
It was a great story and pic!

Yes, I use the Cabela's Bivy Pack Boots. 400 gram thinsulate works pretty well but I have an 800 gram set for really cold weather.

I call BS. There is no way that blacktail is over 600 pounds.
-
And check out Bow4elks bow setup, whats your draw length, like 4ft?
-
bow4elk,I brought your cat back, hes making a mess in the kids sandbox
-
That is a huge BOBCAT
-
Ok, this is getting WAY out of hand :chuckle:
My draw length is 37" but I have to get Team Mossback to hold my bow while I shoot.
And that's not my bobcat. Mine was last seen along a logging road...
-
Did anyone see the photo of the first cat he took?

:yeah: and there was a guy that his cousins best friend was there when he shot it
-
"that is totally photoshopped."
No! How can you say that :chuckle:
-
No way, that guy's just long-arming it. Of course, he has 12 foot arms. I know because I saw him on Discovery Health.
