Flagging does not mean fishing all the time. I was selling fire wood at a rock bottom price last year and got flagged three times. I was getting flagged by competitors that did not want me selling wood.
this could of been flagged by some bunny-hugging *censored* that did not want anyone shooting those poor old coyote!
BTW I finally wrote to Craigslist and explained what i was doing and what I believed was happening, so my ad finally did not get removed after the third incident.
-
let me refraze that (as ive been flagged for rock bottom prices too).
Fishy, too good to he true, great prices, somthing a tree hugger might like, somthing that isn't "PC" ect.
In other words, when referencing to craigslist, Its better to just copy-paste the listing into your thread. 90% of links to craigslist I find in forums have been flagged.
-
It could be the the Granola Hippy Freaks that are offended by the term "Hunting" and the wood that was for sale will create the so called "Green house gasses".
Some of those people are so whacked out
-
The post sounds like some anti-hunter Californian moved up here then had their poodle eaten by coyotes...pink bow and all. :chuckle:

At least this time you got to read it before it was flagged. As I to have been flagged for various reason that others did not seem to want up there.

I got flagged for offering guided hunts on craigs list in the tri-cities.
-
i replied to this add and left my # i'll let you guys know if they call me. and are you still offering those hunts Jerry?
-
I got to hunt a guys property off on the coast for yotes....had some call back, but couldnt get em to come in. This was off of Craigslist...
-
i left to replies to this add with both my email and phone # it never got flagged, or maybe they reposted but it is up on craigslist now. no response. too bad id like to secure a ranch to hunt on.
-
well i just heard back from them via email. the guy said they got a ton of responses and my email made it to the short list of 5 that they are considering. they wanted a little more info to make there decision so i supplied it to them with a little bio of myself. sounds like a great place to hunt i sure hope i get the chance. there looking for someone to hunt every weekend for the next 2 months and it sounds like theres lots of dogs
-
It could be on the up and up. Back when I was in college I got permission to hunt some great private pheasant land. The deal was to hunt pheasants, I had to hunt coyotes on the property in the winter. Boy that was the hardest deal I have ever had to make...NOT!

i think it probably is on the up and up. the only thing i did not give them that they asked for was my address. i explained why i would not give it to them and hopefully they understand. they probably want it for a background check but i need to protect my self and family
-
I wouldn't have gave them my address either....
-
I replied to this add as well, I didn't get a response, I think I lacked the experience they were looking for. I think if it were a scam they would have replied to pretty much everybody that they could. But still a good call on not giving out your address.
-
Well I got a response too, I am on the list of 5..ha! Sounds more like a list of 100. He does state "what are you willing to give?"....ya ok, have fun, not getting involved.

didnt ask me what i was willing to give :dunno: i'll wait to hear from him.

Here's the copy of his email:
"Hello,
As you can imagine I've received many emails having interest to hunt our
ranch.
I'm located off of hwy 12 about 45mi east of I-5.
We have ~ 450 acres of land boarding nat'l forest and the Cowlitz River.
I'm answering 5 of the many emails to get down to 1-2 hunting groups, etc.
Can you provide your full name(s), address and years experience hunting?
And what weekends you are available in the next 2-3 months, if interested.
Price is being considered...we wish to provide exclusive rights to one or two hunting parties/partners for 1-3 years.
what are you willing to give?
planned times only. no walk-on without written premission. property is heavly posted and no one has hunted the dogs here for a long time..
lots of dogs, guarantee dogs!
many thanks,
Lenny"
