if someone where to know of the wearabouts of a young glacier phase bear would it be illegal for said person to shoot it. givin of course if it was during bear season and they had a tag.

Certain parts of Alaska you can get one i know . Ive seen one ;)
-
I guess it depends on if you had legal access to the land?
-
blue bears are not a seperate species. if the season is open and the area is huntable and the bear is big enough to you.........take picture holding his dead body.

Its a color phase as far as I know and the above is correct. I have seen one in my life, and it WAS COOL!

A blue glacier bear is a color phase, if it is legal to shoot bears, then it is a legal harvest, like mentioned in Alaska they actually have them in the regulations in some areas. I have seen 4-5 of them while stationed in Alaska
I would love to shoot a white one.
