Well I've had my new AR for about 6 weeks now. I didn't have the money for a scope at the time so I stole the BSA Sweet 17 off of my Marlin HMR to use on it. Kinda ghetto, I know, but it has done okay. I've been looking for an inexpensive high mag. scope with tac turrets since then. I had my heart set on the Barska Swat, but it was going to cost me 199 + another $80 for a new mount (30mm rings). Then I ran across this one:

It's a BSA "Platinum" 6-24x44. I haven't had a bad experience with the sweet 17. It's pretty clear, holds zero, etc. I looked all over the web for reviews on this one but the only ones I could find were the cabelas ones. Most of them were favorable. I'm not expecting much from it, but I did get it relatively cheap at 139.99 (It came with a free boresight kit too! :IBCOOL:)
I get it in tomorrow and if the UPS guy comes soon enough I'm going to go put it through it's paces from 50-500 yds. I will let you all know how it turns out, then the next guy looking at it can find a review right here. ;)

I have a Platinum in 6-24x44. It's on my .17 HMR now, but it spent time on my AR varminter. Actually, it's not a bad scope... the glass is pretty darn decent. I was able to shoot some outstanding (1/4") groups with the combo.

Oops, it's actually the 6-24x44. I have very little utility for a 32x. :chuckle:
